"The best opportunities are experienced when you are able to share your life experiences with other people & show them your side of the STORY".

I grew up in Perth, Western Australia where my life revolved around playing baseball. I played at the highest level achievable in the state, but it wasn't a reality to make it to the big-time, especially in Perth. So, I decided to move to where the action was at its greatest, in Sydney. After playing a couple of seasons in Sydney & dabbling in the acting along-side baseball, I decided on a working holiday to the USA in the pursuit of sport.

I spent a lot of time working in the USA on two separate occasions in 2002 & 2003 for summer camps teaching baseball & other activities to kids. Whilst travelling in America, I attended pro tryouts with MLB clubs & a college in Boston. I gained a positive angle with regards to my playing ability & talent. I was offered an opportunity to play for a Division 1 College but NCAA rules restricted me from attending & playing. A troubling injury pusuaded me to call it quits on a professional career in baseball, for now! & take my life in another direction. I returned to Oz in December of 2003.

For half of 2004, I cruised in & out of career ideas including taking up the acting again. I spent a lot of time working with other actors, attending classes at the Fremantle TV Institute & filming some short films even attending a seminar on casting in Australia for TV productions where I found my drive passion for acting. I wanted to get involved in the acting life more. I met my girlfriend Annalisa at this casting workshop & decided to help her with her company ACT (Actors Coming Together, a drop in workshop initiative for actors in Perth).

In 2005, Annalisa and I decided to take the acting bug further & so moved to Los Angeles chasing answers & to find out about the acting life in Hollywood. The trip turned into 12 months at which we returned to Oz with a new found love for the craft. The next couple of years have been spent emersing ourselves in the acting work & building up a portfolio to return to LA with a determined purpose to progress in the industry.

In 2007, I picked up various projects including the lead role in a Volvo sponsored TVC for the Asthma Foundation, directed by Marc Furmie. It was definitely a confidence booster & may have been the stepping stone I needed for a positive move forward in the acting life. 2009 became a year of self development and self promotion taking on an Executive Producing role, fully financing a short film (18mins) with partner, Annalisa Pansini. The film is ‘Denouement’. Production started in January and filming commencing mid March of 2009.We both starred in the film project along with a support cast including Barry Williams, Leonine Smith & Tiarnie Coupland to fill out the other main characters. The film has since been submitted to many film festivals worldwide earning Denouement some prestigious awards including BEST DRAMA, BEST SOUNDTRACK & an HONORARY award at West Hollywood Int’l Film Festival and BEST INTERNATIONAL FILM at SoCal Independent Film Festival. Both festivals are in Los Angeles. The film was submitted to the Honolulu International Film Festival, where it gained an HONORARY ALOHA ACCOLADE AWARD for achievement and INDIEFEST!. An amazing result for us, who endeavoured to make their first film and create their own work. It is a great short film and really came out with some nods of approval.

2011 has been an interesting year, with my resume slowly filling with quality and fun projects, including Behind Mansion Walls, Deadly Women, Crownies and Home & Away. I have also taken on the producing role, a leg of acting and filmmaking that makes this whole process very intriguing.
